One of the final Meccan surahs, [Surah Nas](https://islamuna.com/quran/surah-nas-114) is the 114th and final chapter of the Qur'an. It has six verses and gets its name from the word "nas" that appears in the opening line. Allah swears in this surah to the soul of the human and the Day of Judgment. Then, Jesus reminds the doubters of their mistaken conceit and haughtiness and forewarns them of the repercussions of their doubt. Finally, he exhorts them to seek Allah in repentance while reminding them of His mercy.

Father God, my heart is filled with chaos and confusion. I feel as if I am drowning in my circumstances and my heart is filled with fear and confusion. I really need the strength and peace that only You can give. Right now, I choose to rest in You. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen. ~ Mary Southerland.

Lord, I pray that my kids (grandkids) will develop an eternal perspective and purpose, not an earthly one.  Help them to see life–and every challenge–through Your eyes, eager and unafraid to share with others the good news of Jesus wherever they go. I pray that they will set their minds on things above, not just what’s going on here, and that they will be rooted and grounded in Your love. I pray they will come to understand the extent of Your own love for them–that it surpasses all the head knowledge they will acquire in school. I pray they will be filled up with You from morning ’til night. 

Pray for peace all over the world!

Heavenly Father, I Come before you today to ask for a financial blessing to improve my life. My faith keeps me strong, and I know you will provide for me and the people I love. I do not seek a large sum of money. I do not trouble you for unneeded comforts or luxury.
